Speaker Agreement

1. Presenter’s warranties and representations:  

All materials provided accompanying the seminar (PowerPoints, charts, graphs, pictures, maps, illustrations, drawings, movie or video clips, copies of newspaper or magazine articles, whether in print or electronic form, any other handouts in tangible, written or electronic form, or other materials) included within the seminar are:

  • the presenter’s own original ideas and presenter owns all intellectual property rights in and there to, including copyright, trademark, or patent; or
  • the presenter has a license to use the work; or the work is in the public domain.
  • The work is in public domain

2. Grant of license:

Presenter grants DLG a perpetual, royalty-free, world-wide license to use:

  • his/her image or likeness and/or the sound of presenter’s voice as recorded on audio, in studio or virtually, or by means of any other medium; and/or
  • presenter’s presentation in any manner, in any medium, at any time, and for so long as DLG may wish. This license includes the right to edit, copy, exhibit, publish, disseminate, or distribute the image, likeness, voice, or presentation.
  • Presenter gives DLG a perpetual, royalty-free and world-wide license to use presenter’s image, likeness, or voice in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area, such as for the following purposes (which are meant to be illustrative only and not exclusive or exhaustive): broadcasting in a virtual event on-line, on-line/on-demand content, DLG conferences and workshops, promotional purposes, informational presentations, and DLG Learning Center Videos/Courses.

3. Presenter’s conduct:

Presenter grants DLG a perpetual, royalty-free, world-wide license to use:

  • his/her image or likeness and/or the sound of presenter’s voice as recorded during the live seminar; and/or
  • presenter’s presentation in any manner in its entirety, in any medium, at any time, and for so long as DLG may wish. This license includes the right to edit, copy, exhibit, publish, disseminate, or distribute the image, likeness, voice, or presentation. All editing will keep the presentation as it was presented in its entirety.
  • Presenter gives DLG a perpetual, royalty-free and world-wide license to use presenter’s image, likeness, or voice in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area, such as for the following purposes (which are meant to be illustrative only and not exclusive or exhaustive): broadcasting in a virtual event on-line, on-line/on-demand content, DLG conferences and workshops, promotional purposes, informational presentations, and DLG Learning Center Videos/Courses. DLG will credit any and all organizations connected to the presenter when distributing content.

4. No conflicting obligations:

Presenter warrants and represents that he/she is free to provide this content and that this release does not conflict.
